New Zealand South Island Tour

The South Island of New Zealand is about the rustic West Coast and it's wild landscape, the beautiful coastal areas of Kaikoura and of course the magnificent Glaciers and Fiords of Milford and Doubtful Sounds.
If you love to hike or enjoy smaller walking trails then this is the place for you.

The back bone of the South are the Southern Alps stretching from Blenheim in the North to Fiordland in the south 550kms long in length. This is where Peter Jackson fell in love with the scenery to use for parts of his movie Lord of the Rings.
Of course one of the main highlights of a New Zealand South Island Tour are the stunning blue lakes of Tekapo and Pukaki situated not far from Mt Cook the highest mountain in New Zealand. You can spend a few nights here, giving you a chance to see Mt Cook without cloud cover. For a special treat, I suggest Air Safaris, who will customise a flight for you.

There is also the Abel Tasman National Park is  stunning with gorgeous bays and walks to wet your appetite.
There is also the Central Otago with it's many vineyards and fruit growing areas. This is a stunning part of the South Island in all seasons, but especially the Autumn.

To give the South Island time to absorb and take in it's character and beauty you really need a at least 2 weeks here  so jump on board and take a look at a few tours to wet your appetite.
