Today I had a private cruise ship shore tour from Picton with a delightful couple visiting from San Francisco in the States and it was all about the wine in the Marlborough. They enjoyed a tasting at Hunter Wines and lunch and a tasting at Hans Herzog before finishing their day at #Yealandsestate. They reckon we are making pretty good wine! A great day!

The last few days were spent down on the stunning West Coast of New Zealand enjoying a small taste of this fabulous bike trail, The Great Wilderness Trail. It is 136kms...we did around 72kms and loved every minute of it. The majority is suitable for beginners although there are a few hair raising gravel turns with a few moderate gradients, which provided alot of laughs and yes a few short walks up!...but lots of fun and highly recommend! One of the great tours in New Zealand.

The pictures say it all about one of the most beautiful National Parks in New Zealand. There is so much to choose from, walking, kayaking with R&R Kayaks or just taking a leisurely cruise with Wilsons Abel Tasman. The 2 days on a private tour was bliss and the kayaking was the highlight. This is one of the most untouched regions on the South Island of New Zealand.

Although the weather started out a little wet for their private tour today, it seems they loved their Kayaking experience today with Wilsons Abel Tasman. It was calm conditions for them and the weather cleared. They had a great time! Tomorrow, sadly it's their last day of their 8 Day private tour and we head to Picton for their sailing out...let's see what tomorrow brings for their last day in New Zealand.

Well this is my Guest's 5th day on their 8 Day #tour at #FranzJoseph and how lucky they were with the weather. While they were doing the Helicopter and Guided Glacier walk, I took some time out to do the short walk below. They sent me through some of their photos which are fabulous. #PureNewZealand

I was so pleased for my guests from Singapore on their private customised tour to finally experience a real Spring Day in New Zealand after such a melting pot of weather yesterday. Today their highlight was the Far West Farm Tours and a great walk around Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks). Let's see what tomorrow brings....

It was a day of adventure on their private tour today with the first stop off at Avalon Lamas which they loved and then onto Hamner Jet Boats. They certainly have experienced our different weather in a day's touring, struck snow surrounded Mountains, hail and blue skies with a little rain in the mix., typical New Zealand. They finished their day at the BullerGorge and tonight at Murchison.Tomorrow it's the West Coast of New Zealand.

Well day 2 of their private tour was all about a WhaleWatch trip in the morning and although a rough out at sea, they braved it and were lucky to spot a couple of whales. It was then lunch and out to the Peninsula to enjoy the stunning scenery with snow covering the mountains as the weather changed from one season to another.

This afternoon I met a lovely family from Singapore who arrived at Picton, off the Interislander from Wellington, here to enjoy an 8 day private tour with me. Today it was down to Kaikoura and tomorrow, fingers crossed, they get their Whalewatch in before he storm hits.

Motueka and Kaiterteri turned it on, with a festival celebrating the Tasman Region of the South Island of New Zealand and what a great couple of days. The weather was perfect, amazing colourful scenes of Balloons on the beach, Parachutes in the air, loads of entertainment and great food and family fun. Fabulous! If you wish to see this next year jump on board a private day tour from Nelson, or a customised tour of the South Island taking in the Tasman Region.
