On my way back after finishing my 9 Day Tour of New Zealand, I was presented with a great show during the sun rising over Lake Tekapo. in the South Island.

This was the last 2 days for my Guests from California, on a 9 Day Private Tour with me and they certainly experienced the dramatic changes in weather in New Zealand. Thank goodness they had a great day on the Milford Sound yesterday and although the weather was not kind to them again today in Queenstown, the second time around...they made the most of it. Yesterday the weather caved in a little on their private tour, as we made or way from the Mount Cook Village to Queenstown. What to do on a wet day..... some great otago wineries to explore, and a perfect day for the the Icebar...had to be keen! Their 9 Day Tour is going really well. They think that I am a great driver so that is a bonus too.

As one of my Guests on their private tour have been doing some viticulture placement experience in the Marlborough, it was time for her to enjoy a some of the wines in the area herself. They had started their tour in Auckland and this has been one of their favourite parts of their tour.

The last couple of days on their private tour was spent enjoying a little of our Maori Culture and some thermal experiences at Whakarewarewa and a great walk through the Redwoods in Rotorua. They finished their day in Taupo with a an afternoon of fly fishing and a view of Huka Falls.. Another great day while the weather holds!

This morning I picked up a lovely family visiting from California, for a 9 Day tour throughout part of the North and South Islands of New Zealand.They experienced a little of the WaitomoCaves, Kiwis at the Kiwi House and a short walk, a little cheese tasting and an adrenaline fix in Rotorua at Ogo...lots of fun ahead! A great start for their private tour.

Their last day in the South Island on their private tour was spent around Kaikoura and since the November earthquake there are some amazing rock formations and is great for exploring New Zealand. A few wineries were also taken in on our way to Picton. A great day!

We have been so fortunate to keep ahead of the weathe on this private tour of the West Coast of New Zealand.My Guests explored the many caves in this stunning area of the South Island.

Their private tour yesterday inorporated the afternoon and into the sunset at Whakariki Beach and couldn't help but take so many photos. The beauty of the Tasman in the South Island of New Zealand.

There is so much to do from Takaha and one of the many short walks, are the Wainui Falls. They were spectacular and you can easily do these walks and scenic views on a private tour from Nelson.
