Autumn in New Zealand

Well it's back to the North Island having finished my tours in New Zealand for now. I have a few days up  on the North Island to take care of Business etc before flying back to Australia and Tasmania...I am enjoying the Autumn colours with splatterings of snow here and there...farewell to summer.


A Great day in Kaikoura

As I a making my way back to the North Island I decided to stop overnight at Kaikoura  and as much as they are still suffering from the Earthquake in Nov 2016 they are still open for Business and such a stunning landscape as they say "Mountain to the Sea"....Check it out next time you are in NewZealand.

Great last day on Arthurs Pass

Well it was farewell to my lovely Guests from Wesconsin in the USA  after a 3 week tour through New Zealand.It has been a pleasure and lots of laughs along the way. Thanks for all those little extras and I hope to see you back again in New Zealand again one day. Happy and safe travels for the future!

Well what a stunning day on tour today for Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson. My Guests have been so lucky with this weather and a great day for some short walks. One more day of touring before their flight back to the USA. They have had a wonderful time in New Zealand.

Great Day on the West Coast of the South Island

Today was all about Punakaiki (The Pancake Rocks) and what a great day to explore the stunning West Coast of the South Island...it was another stunning day weather wise and ample chances for great pictures of this great part of New Zealand. They have been so fortunate with the weather...a couple of more days touring before the rain sets in again.

Great Day on the Able Tasman NP

Well the last 2 days of tour my Guests from the USA have been on Guided walks through the Able Tasman National Park so today I was able to get out with my Cousin on the water to suss out some great spots for other tours up on this piece of pradise in New Zealand. Tomorrow we resume for touring to the West Coast of New Zealand. A stunning day!

Great Day at Aoraki (Mt Cook)

Well yesterday their tour took them through the  McKenzie Country spotting a few of the filming locations of Lord of The Rings...as this has been part of their private tour. They stayed at Lake Tekapo and a day trip up to The Hermitage and Hooker Valley to see Aoraki. (Mt Cook). It finally cleared and they had a great opportunity for some photo shoots of one of the most visited places in New Zealand.

Wellington and Lord of The Rings

The last few days on tour have been spent in Wellington as my Guests on board love The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbits and just had some time out visiting the various Peter Jackson locations and thoroughly enjoyed their time in the capital of New Zealand. This morning we left Wellington and followed all these great Minis who were on a Fund Raising campaign to do with the Pork Pie Run and were such a fun bunch...check out their Facbook page. A Great Day To Tongaririo National Park

Well after touring the beautiful Waikato and it's rolling green hills of Hobbiton we drove to Putaruru where you can explore the Te Waihou Walkway, famous for it's beautiful clear blue water with stunning colours and where 70% of New Zealand's water is bottled from... and then a coffee and cheese tasting at https://www.facebook.com/overthemoondairy" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Overthemoondairy ...some of the best cheeses, that both myself and my Guests had tasted ...

Hobbiton from Lord of The Rings

Well today their private tour took them from Auckland to Matamata and Hobbiton surrounded by the beautiful rollings hills of the Waikato. A stunning day and they thoroughly enjoyed their time there and would love to go back! They love the Waikato of NewZealand They arr big fans of "The Lord of The Rings"
